Yes, his depart is great loss!
I also admired (and painted) some of his beautiful sets (e.g. Fest der Borgia, Stadtübergabe an Rene Lothringen, Burgund Ritter and other figures of the middle age).
Rest in piece Mr. Neckel!
Is it too early to ask about the fate of his moulds, isn't it?

Yes, such very sad news.  I was fortunate to meet Rolf on several occasions when I visited Kulmbach; he was a charming man and always extremely helpful.  My thoughts go out to his family.

Sad news, nice gentleman.  I was fortunate enough to get many of his wonderful figures.
