That's good Ed,  maybe get him to paint the Jabberwock to add to the set for display.

Thanks Ed

I have some pictures of the board taken in 2015 at Kulmbach, on Western Miniatures table, but the quality is not excellent, with interferences from the protective glass.
I believe someone should take pictures or each painting, or by groups of Three or four maximum.  I am ready to clean them up, if someone sends me the set of pictures , should be minimum 1500 pix x 1500 or more....

also I think that an article or some articles should be done on this panel, along with the eanlarged ad cleaned pictures to be published in the fall or winter on the BFFS Magazine (perhaps in 2 or 3 parts, more if one does not limit only to alice, but also the other flats of the original panel).

So candidate to handle the pictures, have somene for the articles, and of course continue the retoration of the panel for posting in Germany for next year ?

Here is one I did clean from my 2015 pictures, but many are damaged by the glass upfront or not sharp enough for optimal quality  (pictures to be taken without protection, and a brush and air clean up ...).

Thanks for candidates on this ....

That's good, Jon is a great artist but who has he told as I have not been told anything.

I'll have to talk to Jon this week and see what is going on.

I was almost certain, and now Jon Redley has confirmed it was he, not Jim, who painted Dick's Alice figures.

A great idea to give this impressive piece to Plassenburg. I think Ms. Schipkowski would be nice surprised.

I would also be more than happy to see this whole set posted in Plassenburg !!!
It is a testimony of the art of flat painting of the XXth century in Great Britain !!

I would be very happy to reframe them into a nice display if they are going to the Plassenburg ☺️

This is the idea I had and think now it is the way to go, will get in touch with the Plassenburg and see what can be done.

Can anyone confirm if these figures where painted  by Jim, Dick's family are also not sure.

So to confirm the painted figures are not for sale but hopefully going to Kulmbach.

This is a piece for a museum of flats ...  Since 2015, this set has been my obsession, but I am getting too old today (approaching 80)  to get it for myself only egoïstically !!

Let me know about offers, I would be ready to bid higher and offer it to BFFS for placing in a vitrine in the Museum of Kulmbach -It is a significant testimony of the art of British flat of the XXth Century and would be better there than keeping enclosed in a private house.

Ready too to share purchase with someone else on conditions of above, Brian !

Please keep me informed...

The last throughs for the Alice sets, no Alice in Wonderland set left but all others I still have one or two of each set

The painted display is also available, been told it was painted by Jim Woodley but no proof, this painted set is open to offers. [ Guests cannot view attachments ]
