Happy man on your turn, as I was 13 years ago !!! I am wishing you a lot of pleasure, fun, love, and satisfaction.

The major and unexpected change you may face like many of us :  you shall have less time in your life than before, you shall be more busy, but you becomes the boss of your activities and time control...

I am leaving for France (Sèvres and my sister, for next week starting this Friday), but here too I am ready to share your tests questions on the site upgrade, as I am using the galery quiet a lot, still busy with one show, and having several more in the pipe line !!!  So I spend many hours per week on the side !, like you too as I can see.... My unavailability shall be from 29/11 till 6-7/12 ...

Upcoming Upgrade and some down time

This version of the Flat Figures site came online on November 14, 2013 - believe it or not!  Since that time I have maintained its basic functionality but, two years ago there were some major upgrades to the underlying software that runs the site which required a major upgrade.  Not having the time to perform such a task I have left it in limbo so to speak but, our ISP charges a small fee for maintaining old code which I have paid for as well.

Earlier this month I officially retired - HUZZAH - which puts me inline with most of the members of the site and allowed me the time to look at this.  As such I have done a very, arduous port from PHP 7.4 to 8.2 along with a large number of careful moves which are all almost ready for GO Live.

What does it mean to me you ask?  Well the site will be much more responsive, all of the content will have been ported from old to new.  However, the look will change a little, and some functionality will change a bit - sorry outside of my control.

This also means that late next week the site will be offline for a day or so while I finalize the move.

It will be helpful if a couple of folks can do some quick validation for me - please PM me if you are willing to do some testing?
