Thanks for the report Brian, it sounds like a fine send off for a nice fellow that touched our world in a very positive way.  (A legacy we should all aspire to.)

RIP Dick

The 11th of October 2019 our old friend died, today 31st we sent him on his way.
A small gathering of family and friends were there to see him off on his last journey, a moving service and a Bugler played as we said goodbye.
Old members from his regiment were there and the regimental flag covered the coffin.                                                                                A few lines read out from the letter sent to his wife from the BFFS committee seemed to sum up Dick's part in the world of flat figures, well done guys
A good but sad day,  Jon Redley and myself were there to represent all the members of the BFFS.

He will be missed by us all who collect and paint the flat figure
