That looks a good read Bernt. I've just read a review (using translator) on the Karolinska förbundet website.
Shame there isn't an English translation.

No, unfortunately, I have not read this book. The book that I read is called "The Road to Poltava. Battle of Lesnaja 1708
It is issued by a militarian-history book club. Think it is only available in Swedish.

Bernt, I have those same Pikemen but what a good idea to include the civilians and animals, it really does look like a army on the march.

Thanks for all the comments about my figures.
It is nice to see you painting some Swedish guys, Roger.
I have painted some of them myself.
I have read a book about the Swedish army on march in Russia in 1709.
It was not only soldiers, but also many civilians and animals in the field campaign.
Last time in Kulmbach I bought as many civilians and animals as I could find suitable for this project.

Wow! That's a bit of a coincidence I've just been admiring mine, unpainted at the moment I'm afraid but this might help me along a bit. You've done a great job of Vlad's figures Bernt.

PS The other coincidence is I'm painting some Swedes at the moment.  ;D
