As always with Eric, we feel life in his paintings, not static, but alive !  with brightness and shadows ... not so far away from Douchkine...

First one is a new Golden Fleece knignt, Jehan de Villiers de l' Isle Ad
Second is the banner of Charlemagne before 800AD
Third is Charlemagne as an emperor (old Heinrichsen 28mm group)
