Thanks Nick and Eric! There's more to come but not many of the cartoon figures- cutting and painting thick card is very tedious for me, but when I can afford it, perhaps they can be engraved. I've got dozens of drawings 

My dear namesake Guynemer is next of course- attached is a progress picture (I've since begun the painting). This figure is about 11-12cm in height.

Hi all, like the new forum!
Here's some work I did around December, there's quite a few pictures. Personally I'm not happy with the way I paint, but ah well, perhaps the fact that I use acrylics is a valid excuse for poor highlighting? 

First, a one-sided SYW fusilier of the Prinz Heinrich regiment (who were almost obliterated... twice!). I love Fredericus-Rex's 54mm range, despite my obsession with 30mm Franco-Prussian War stuff. The fellow on the right is only primed so far..
Next, two more 30mm 1870 figures by Droste (you knew this topic was coming at some point! ^^). Unfortunately I must varnish them, not just for handling but because damn visitors don't understand the function of a cabinet. I ordered some more, this time from Cortum, but curiously a week has passed without any reply..
Lastly, three photos of an ensemble of my own paper cartoon flats displayed in a cigar box (the small figures are 30mm, the large figure is about 20cm).
That's it for now, I'll be around more frequently now that school's over and university is starting!
