A very nice bump in folks joining the Forum since Kulmbach, welcome everyone.  Perhaps we reach 500 Associates & Members registered on the site by the end of this year which would be a nice watershed - only 40+ to go now.

For the new arrivals all I can say is we are sorry...  There is so much to read and view on the site now that much of your free time will be gone for a large period of your summer and fall.  Do enjoy your studies.

If anyone has trouble or issues please feel free to reach out to me our one of the Moderators on the site.

-cheers

A relaxing week drinking wine on the banks of the Mosel is a good way to get over Kulmbach.

Hello Gerry,
it was also a pleasure to meet you again at the Kulmbach fair. The bust is the field marshall of the holy german empire in the 30yw Gottfried Heinrich Graf von Pappenheim. The figure was inspired by the attached portrait. I'm still working on the bust and hope to show it here in a short time......
@Nicholas and Marko: thanks for your kindly support. All is running well
Cheers

Hello Nicholas,
"I took the 40 Shillings off the drum" and payed the annual fee to the account of Ed Humphries and like to change my "associate" into a full member status. To whom should I give further informations?
Best regards
Roland

Ed has mentioned that it would be easier to have 2 membership dates, therefore we will have those joining from January to January, and a second option for July to July. for those paying now it would be back dated to July.

Dear All,

it came to my attention that there is a query as to who is actually a member of the society.

on this Forum, anyone can read certain topics and reply, however there are 2 status

Full Member ---  where you pay a membership fee and you gain additional areas within the forum and discounts when you buy the BFFS official figures.

Associate ---  where you only get access to certain parts of the forum.

this Status is shown under your name / 'handle'  when you reply to a topic.

We will shortly be creating a new Series of figures based on the legend of king Arthur, with the first figure to be released before the end of the year. ( in time for Christmas ;) )
hopefully the second will be released shortly after.

I look forward to seeing more Associates becoming Full Members :)

Warmest Regards       Nicholas
