Hi Nick,

there are 32 degree Celsius in Bavaria, I hope it´s a bit cooler at 8.8. in Kulmbach.
I remember some hot Zinnfigurenbörsen in the tent; the town hall with the competition is cooler ...

Thank you for the picture. It looks professional.

Best regards

Michael

Not that hot here Michael!  cutting took 2 hours!!!  I made a mask with paper and laminate to trace the squares on the mountboard, then carefully cut each one

Purchased the foamboard last night, this is how it will look. sort of!!!  once I cut away the excess ! ;D ;D ;D

Hi Nick,

be careful with the passpartout; at this hot weather you´ll have suddenly sweat stains on the pasteboard ...

it´s a hard work to cut the pasteboard with hand ...

Best regards

Michael

Hello Nick,

thank you for the picture. It´s not difficult for me to create a .dxf-file for a lasercutter but if you only have
one piece it´will be expensive.

I´ll ask in the copy-shop. There are several firms in the internet who offers individual passpartouts.
But I think it will be 20-60.-€ for such a passpartout.
For example Gerstaecker makes individual passpartouts with 0,06€/cm + 2,75€ for each additional cut out.
(4*50cm*0,06€ + 15*2,75€ = 12€ + 41,25€ =53,25€)

On the other hand you could use a SMD-light over each figure in such a frame...

Best regards

Michael

This is the mount I have cut, I will put black foamboard behind it with the figures mounted on it. I have printed names to stick under each one .

I will post more photo's as I progress ;)

Hi Michael,

I will post a picture of the mount I have cut and explain how I intend to go about things ;)

if you can get hold of someone with a laser cutter and computer it will make the whole thing a lot easier. I have cut 21 squares in mount board by hand, doesn't look too bad as long as you stand 10 feet away from it!! ;D;D ;D ;D

Hello Nick,

a small step by step introduction would be interesting because I must mount nest year the Mignot painting
project and I have no experience. I present most of my figures in dioramas...

Best regards

I am framing the 2015 project, and have one with no name. Could you let me know if this is yours ;)
