No, like the Sad Clown painted before (see in my gallery), the light is PAINTED intentionally from the bottom left instead of the usual top left or right or zenithal.

Is that the light source that makes it look so dramatic or have you painted it with the light to the left? any way very good painting and going to have to have a go at that shadow game

This is a flat of 75mm from Andreas Trost, oïl painted, that I called Sean the bucaneer, you can guess why... and shown in Lille yesterday....
