Hello friends of flats,

the era after Napoleon I. is interesting, too. You have an ´evolution of adornments´ at the officier uniforms.

It starts with unadorned uniforms in the French revolution and ends in more ornamentation than blue uniforms
in the end of this development.

4 envelopes are left in my box. If I´ve forgot somebody  or if somebody want´s to paint one who have no
figure, please contact me.  Marko, Snagy, Erich and Glen figures will be posted today.
Brian, Roger and Charles figures are distributed by Nick when he´s back from Kulmbach.

Best regards

Michael

Aille ... my historical period of interest ends at the first empire ...., even just prior to the French Revolution due to difficult battles on uniformology with Napoléon .... but it is a nice challenge!!!
I take it !!
As I escape to Turkey early september, I'll finish it for December or January .... (planning is full).

Michael, let me dream on the remaining pièces still without owner till now!

Hi all
A great thank to Michael who got this idea of the Mignot Project
It was a real nice moment when members came to pick their envelopp and discover the figure they now have to paint
Start working now and don't forget to send back your painted figure to Michael for the display

Hello friends of flats,

first I must say thank you for the big and friendly help to distribute the well casted Mignot figures from the
orginal moulds (no silicon) for our painting project yesterday in the heat of Kulmbach.
I think the figures from the portrait series are suitable for beginners and experienced painters.
With the envelopes everybody had the same chance to get a figure.
There are color pictures in the Vullinghs/Krannich Mignot book and in the internet like on the side of
Alexander Baden.
The AFCFEF edits a 54 mm Foch and there is is a picture of a painted Foch figure on their homepage.
Look at the pictures of Fourquet.
There are only a few figures left we must send per post; Nick in the United Kingdom.
When you start painting, make some SBS-pictures.
I think it´s interesting to look at the different ways every painter uses. We never stop learning.

Best regards

Michael

Hello friends of flats,

I used the bad weather today and finished the passpartout for the Mignot painting project 2015.

Additional every painter will get a small air cushion envelope with an adress lable to send them back.

If you want to be anonymous you can get your figure in Kulmbach and send them back without sender.

See you at Saturday 8.8.2015 at 13 o´clock on the BFFS-stand at Kulmbach.

Best regards

Michael
