It is painted quite dark Michel, hopefully you will see a difference when I have done some more highlighting and post an update.

It is indeed on, but the picture is posted quiet dark to be unable to distinguish the détails even colours of the horse and of the clothing....
Perhaps take a new one and ajust lightening before posting

when I look at your gallery I think you paint on a very high level.

You think a lot about light and shadows.

Today the first two envelopes comes back; the black background arrived last week.
