Hey Mark, if you have plenty, send me one of each three instead of one single? it will be nicer to paint on the row!

I'm still on for a pair of hoplites (and the other two). I'll do an SBS for at least one of them. Using acrylics, I tend to paint 30mm quickly.

Looking forward to the project.

That's what I like enthusiasm...

I confess to having the Blue King figure as well as the club Thirty Years figures to finish myself so don't feel too put out.

I have been on a painting binge of late and ordered some of the oils you recommended so have high hopes to finish everything myself.  (Last weekend it was ancient Libyans, a couple of Napoleonic, some 17th century and a Geisha so I do not lack for variety.)

Metals I still struggle with so these should be an interesting challenge for me as well.  I have two lovely knights Charles sent me that I keep whacking away at with little success so we will see if I have better luck with depicting bronze over steel.

welcome aboard Robert, nice to have you here ;)

I've still got the blue king figure to do ;D, but Christmas is on it's way and I have a good couple of weeks off. If you want to waste a figure on me Mark, I'll give it a go ;D ;D ;D

Lots of flesh, metal and intricate shield designs. What could be easier? Yes, Mark, I will have a Hoplite please.

A bit quiet of late so why not shake things with another Campaign Proposal?

For those who don't recall last year saw a very successful Campaign using one of Neckel's figures from the Army of the Blue King - http://www.intflatfigures.org/index.php?topic=1062.msg7950#msg7950

The figures

I have had these Schlotz figures for quite some time in my backlog - a good phalanx worth.  As Gianpaolo  Bistulfi has shown me a number of times - almost all flat figures look better painted.  In this case he has some lovely hoplites on his site showing what can be achieved:

In our case we will be painting one of these worthy fellows:

The Rules

The rules are quite simple really.
1.)  You tell me you wish to participate and send me your address through a Private Message
2.)  I send you a figure
3.)  You paint it
4.)  This one is the important part - display it here on the site - you can add the figure to your collection

So who would like to take the challenge and embark on another campaign?  Just send me a message with your address and I will get the chaps in the mail to you.
