Actually my concerne, Mark, is that no one new member has succeeded to register since January 1st 2026, as compared to every month before, as of something changed in the registration process blocking such attempt.
On the contrary the number of visitors on line but unregistered is exploding each day as I can observed at that moment too, over 2000 at all time.

If no new visitor can access the many menus of the forum, or the galleries, this forum will die rapidly by itself, as many old members (even seniors) are no longer coming to spend time on the forum. the number of new subjects has also dramatically fallen down with the increasing us of Facebook.
If access is no longr possible to register, le site is self suiciding therefore with exception of a very few fanatics ....
This is why registration system should be evaluated and corrected, or the numer of unregistrered visitirs is a fake artifical number ....
I've been excluded from Facebook recently, my only source of exposition and contests pictures, to feed the galeries. It is a serious issue for me, as pictures as being in a foreign country half of the yer, I can only attend one of two events pr year myself to take pictures, and I have only one excellent friend who sends me pictures from his contest.
I am afraid to unregister myself to try to re)register from scratch, as it could fail and access to BFFS will be totally refused to me. So attention should be brought to keep the door to new members open, and proper easy explanations to do this processing, not very easy to accomplish ...
BFFS is a considerable and rather unique source of information, referen, ces, îctures, editors, works, know-how probably unique that Facebook can not even approach. It would be a big loss for flat painters and collectors to loose this site, or let it die by ittself.
