Just thinking, do we all know what Kulmbach is, think off one of the big model shows like SMC or the old Euro Militaire that is Kulmbach but all flats, thousands of the little guys for sale and on show from most of the flat figure producers, their all there.

Then the competition with the best painted flats from all corners of the world, 3 days of talking and seeing the best flats and a beer or two with friends.

My long weekend will stretch to four weeks in Germany and Austria. For those who enjoy the outdoor life, I can recommend the campsite in Stadtsteinach, some fifteen. minutes' drive to the north of Kulmbach. I've been going there every time since 1991.

See you all there,

Only five months and we will be partying in Kulmbach, have you your hotel booked, the figure for the competition finished and your list of figures to look for and with luck add to your collection.

So are you going to join us for the long weekend in Germany, I'll be there  ;)
