Great presentation of excellently painted flats.  Appreciate the sharing of the artwork as well of a not often seen time period for Japanese material.

Here a few more figures painted in the last months
the "2 Fishermen" are from my Jantz - Collection
and the Japanese I had painted for the Goslar Meeting
The older Samurai is angry by the clothing of the 2 younger men, which absolutely doesn`t match his expectations.  The figures are designed after a picture by S. Lunyakow, which can be seen inthe book from Till Weber about the Bakumatsu period (available in English too)
