Hi Eric,

I have been looking through pictures for ideas to send Sascha to draw for the wedding of Arthur and Guinevere.   🙂

Dear All

So far the Members seem set on a Arthurian figure for the club figure so, I am posting an alternative figure.  I found it in a second hand shop before lockdown for 50p. Photos attached.

Best wishes

Hi Graham,
Depends if you like driving or not- from Redcar it’s a 2 1/2 day trip. Most people fly then train down. The best person to ask is John Russell- PM him I’m sure he will give you great advice.

Hi Nick
Thanks for all that !
And yes we all hope we will meet in Kulmbach. (I still have a box from you)
A new figure in the Arthur serie would be fine
All the best and keep safe

Thank you for the status, Nick!
I also hope that 2021. will be much better than the previous one - considering how terrible the 2020. was, this wish is even not a big demand.
Thank to Ed, Jerry and Mark and to all those who contributed and keep the daily life of our society going.
Happy year 2021. and stay healthy-
Sandor

Thanks for the update, Nick. Thanks also to you, Ed, Jerry and Mark (and others!) for all they do.

Here's hoping for a better 2021.

I'm also in favor of more in the Arthur series and am currently enjoying painting the most recent dragon figure - which is a joy!

Happy New Year to all, and here's to ya!!

As we ring out the old and rush to get into 2021, I give you an update on the society.

I hope you all had a decent Christmas, although for most of us it was probably the damp squib that was forecast.
Not looking back, let’s hope 2021 will not only bring us the vaccine, but will once again open up the world for gatherings and model shows alike, and we can again enjoy a quite bevvy all togeather.

With regards the society, hope springs eternal and things tick along rather nicely. Unfortunately the AGM was cancelled this year, and it looks like next year will also be the same, although APRIL will not be possible.
I hope to be able to try another month later in the summer, but we will have to wait and see. It’s not as if our calendars will be full of shows or at this rate holidays abroad.

After 2 years of organising, arranging and choosing drawings, engraving, and problems with Covid, etc.
St George finally came to full fruition and I am pleased to report that it has been very well accepted, and I hope you all agree.
This figure was created as a Thank You to all of you for the friendship and loyalty you have given to the society over all these years, and I too would also like to show my own gratitude, especially to Ed, Jerry and our WebWizard Mark, who arrange and sort things in the background and make everything run so smoothly, so a BIG Thank You to ALL of you. 🙂

Financially, the society is sound, and recently figure sales have been going well. With this in mind I am currently speaking to Ed with regards getting another figure engraved early next spring. Would you like another in the Arthur series ( the marriage of Arthur ) or perhaps like St George another figure all together- please let me know your thoughts on this.🙂

2021 is again Kulmbach, and as far as Franz and Andreas are concerned, this is currently still on🍾🎊
In fact Ed and I are so confident 😲😄  a table has been booked as have our hotels. It appears to be one of the first shows for next year, so I look forward to meeting up with a lot of you all there.

Lets hope things are brighter and therefore I wish you all a very Happy, Prosperous and Enjoyable 2021.

Warmest regards to all.            Nicholas
