I've got it now and agree, Air Marshal. That would also explain the cuff insignia which I thought was odd for KRRC.
Well spotted Jan.
In my defence the headgear is very similar.  :D

Hmm!

I have always considered, as a modern King, he wore the uniform of RAF. Based on the picture in Krannich´s book about Gottstein. The uniform is blueish in the Picture. As I could see among his titles he was also an Air Marshal of RAF. I don´t know how a cap looks like for an Air Marshal, could it be like the one on the figure?

My God !

It took half an hour to list all his titles eah time he was entering a room to be announced !!!  All of this in one single life ....

I am happy with my single name and four surnames...

Eric, here is a list of the regiments George VI was Colonel in Chief of,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_titles_and_honours_of_King_George_VI

Looking at the list I think probably the Kings Royal Rifle Corps is the closest to the uniform depicted in the figure you have.

Thank you Michel, but I did bought these figures to complete my set
I started to repaint them and I want to be sure about the costumes of the modern English king
They could have many different ones because they were honorary commander of many regiments of the british army

Eric,

If I understand correctly, you question is Under which garnments should Georges VI be painted ?

In my pictures collection, I found a link to the painting of the Kings of England by Jiw Woodley:   http://letchworthsmc.yolasite.com/2---jim-woodley.php

By enlarging this serie of ten Kings set on a piece of white styrofoam, Georges VII is at the extreme right in this clothes.
Someone from our English friends could surely explain which one it is more precisely.

Hi all
I join a picture of four kings of England from the Gottstein set
From left to right : Edward VII, George V, Edward VIII, George VI
I found a picture for Edward VII, I think George V is as a Commander in Chief of the Black Watch, Edward VIII as a commander in Chief of the Seaforth Highlanders, but what about George VI ?
I want to complet my Douchkine set with the missing figures, so any help will be very useful
Thanks a lot
Eric
