...gotta love 'em. This is a resin bust from Nemrod sculpted by Yvan Durand. It seems to walk in a gray area between cartoon and real. The lips were fine, but I re-sculpted the nose a bit to make it less bulbous. The nipples are engraved, so it would seem there's an option for painting sheer material. The main issue was the engraved eye which I felt was too small, too low, and too far away from the nose. The hair on the side was swept back, but there was no ear. Overall, the piece is three inches/75mm tall. I added more hair to the side (putty), filled in the eye (also putty) and re-scribed it in a new location and at a larger size.
Floquil Model Railroad Primer under Reaper Master Series Acrylic Paints. I went for a green satin bow and a green satin basque with sheer cups having green lace and orange flowers. The pics show the piece framed and unframed (the latter at a slightly larger size).
