Andreas may feel that 54mm would work better than 45mm.  This final decision will be his, either way, it's going to be a beautifully engraved figure and a great set ;)

I agree...54mm but majority rules.

I wish you would stick with the original plan of 54mm. I think 45 is too small - especially when we are contemplating  a series.

Having discussed this at Kulmbach, and with the practicality of displaying, I have decided that as the drawings are so good from Sasha, that a 45mm figure would work well.

I am also extremely pleased and excited to announce that Andreas Trost has agreed to create this series for us.
Those of you who know his work from this forum will know what a great engraver he is, and I am very grateful to him for all his support.

I hope to get the first figure out in time for Christmas.

Having returned from Kulmbach, I am all over the place, but I will be sending the Drawing to Andreas over the weekend. I will then contact him directly and ask for his opinion on the final size, as he knows better on this than I.

Hello Eric,

most flat collectors have no time to die, look at our French army painters, who designed the drawings for flats.

Best regards

there is no difference in price for 45mm or 54mm. :o

30 mm is too small.

The more members we get, the more funds / the better the figures, the better the sales, then the more figures produced per year. ;)

anyway, I'm going to live till I'm 107  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Don'want to be a spoilsport but...small is beautiful
If the scale is 54 I am afraid it will be difficult to issue more that one or two figures a year
I will be dead before the end of the saga !!

As Nick said the 54mm was favoured at the weekend but why not go for a real stunner!!! I'm talking BIG!!   180mm/200mm that would stop everyone in there tracks  ;D ;D ;)

Cost to much, slate to much, casting to much but would make a real statement for the BFFS  ;)

Some day, Brian. Some day...

I would be fine with 54mm as well, but I see the appeal of 45mm in matching other sets. It could spur further releases, such as a version of Waterhouse's 'Lady of Shalott'. And of course, there's always a version of Monty Python's 'Holy Grail'...
