Hi allHere are some of the nice figures issued by Blum about the Burgundian wars
The first picture shows some Burgundian knights fighted by Swiss mercenaries at the siege of Nancy, 1477
The coat of arms is of Jean de Rubempré, a Charles the Bold commander, who was killed there
Engravinf is from Lecke for the Rubempré group and from Moher for the other one
The second picture shows a Burgundian knight when the alert was given at the Morat battle, 1476
Engraving is by Mohr
I am still searching the best way to paint metals but I definitely choose metallic paints
For silver I put a thin undercoat of black + prussian blue on the bare metal and then a first coat of Humbtol metallic silver on the wet; when dry I add a second coat of powder silver on the highlighted parts
For gold same way with a burnt umber undercoat
