Hello Michel,

It´ll be interesting. I´ve never made conversions on a face of a 30 mm flat. I only use my oil colors to optimize
faces of 30 mm flats.
It´s a historic flat, engraved in the 30´s and the casting in Kulmbach was strong limited.

Best regards

Michael

Hello,

I will open a subject in the Workbench section of the Members, to detail my Step-by-Step painting of Charles X.
Indeed, I will need some time of preparation, because I found the oïl painting from which the drawing and engraving was extracted, but I will have to make some conversions on the face, the bicorne, the horse and the bust of Charles.  In short some 11 small adaptations before I would start the painting.
I am not used at that scale, and I hope I will not scratch the flat totally, otherwise I might have to ask for another copy !!!  For example the face engraving is quiet poor and different from the real face of Charles X!.
Here is an example of the face of Charles.

At this rate, Richelieu will be his own cavalry troop.

Michael, we'll need a lowly friar to walk behind them with a shovel and trash bin ...scooping.

Do not worry Michel. I started painting my figure. I'm glad I got Foch. Would not mind owning a copy for myself.

Hello friends of Mignot-flats,

I hope somebody starts soon with a SBS for beginners and people who wants to learn something.
Don´t start at 15.8.2016.

It´s only necessary to paint one side of the Mignot flats because they´ll be presented in a frame
like the last projects.

The other Mignot figures the Plassenburg casted for "200 years Waterloo" was sold out at Saturday in Kulmbach.
They are still very popular.

Best regards

Michael
