Knight 1380 - Redux
« Reply #1 on: February 07, 2015, 10:41:04 AM »
Greetings all! This is Troste's Medieval Knight circa 1380. The actual piece is three inches tall and two inches wide. I've taken a bit of license by painting him as a Knight of the Order of St Lazarus in the 1280s - the period just before the fall of Acre in 1291. Rather than grind away and make a few modifications to him, I simply painted him as cast and depicted him as someone of some rank.

I used Floquil brush-on Model Railroad Gray Primer and Reaper Master Series Acrylic Paints. I also tried an experiment and depicted the weave of a coarse linen surcoat.

As always, questions and comments are welcomed.

Cheers,

Glen
