I highly appreciate those small dots with what you realized the embroidery on the baldachine and on the schabrack.
I have a lot of problems to create them on the litter of Mr Wallenstein (in the set of Wallensteins Reise nahc Eger).

Hallo,
the correct name is Gabriella Donner; I found a short article in Google, december 2010 she openend a small Museum
with flats in Lebusa named Zinnstüb´l.

Hallo,
thera are pictures of the Grand Mogul court in the book "Überall ist Wunderland" von www.edition-krannich.de.
Inge Claus-Jansen painted it in the style of Heinrichsen The good but short description wrote Dr. Egon Krannich.
Perhaps someone can contact Mr. Krannich and translate it for the Journal in english

The editor, Mr. Schulz died some years ago during an accident with his TV. His wife Gabriele Svhulz-Donner makes now
the castings and she is in Kulmbach, too.

There is another interesting set from Schulz "Maskenball bei August dem Starken" for our pin-up fans.
Pictures are in the book of Krannich, too.

Not really an historic set but based on the informations and drawings brought back from Orient by the first european travellers

The Inspiration for this figures was a famous Piece of Art.
Joachim Melchior Dinglingers "Am Hofe des Großmoguls Aurangzeb"
It is a Kind of Diorama with plastic figures made of Gold with Diamonds and Pearls and so on.
According to Wikipedia Dinglinger selled this work of jewelery to August the Strong.

So, this is actual a work of baroque Fantasy. I think it was called Orientalism.
Sorry, not really historic.

I like the elephants the best I would say that they are from Burma because of there size. Does any one have an address for this set.  Willie

These are the types of sets that make flats 'special' in my opinion.  Really does look fun to paint and wonderful start with the elephant!.

This is a huge set from Schultz Donner showing the court of the Grand Mogul honoring him for his birthday
There are dozens of figures and it is a very colorful set inspired by a master work of jewellry of the early XVIII° century

Here is the first figure of the set : one of the gifts offered to the Mogul by his vassal Chani Alem, people prince, a grey hunt elephant with its crew

The next figure will be a white elephant offered by an aother vassal, Mir Miron, lord of the lords

The engraving and casting are good enough to make painting a real pleasure
There is a book about this work of art : "At the grand mogul court", Leipzig edition, byJoachim Menzhausen (text) and Klaus G Beyer (pictures)
