Vladimir now has a slate and is starting to engrave.

I hope he's had a hearty Breakfast and Lunch, as he does not eat whilst in the process of engraving, he feels the finished article is much much better :)

Hi Steve,

Once the figure has been engraved and we have an engraved copy,  I will post a photo of it here with all costs etc.

2D will then be the official contact point, as with all the other society figures.

Vladimir has finalised the drawing with me and he will let me know how he is progressing.

I do not expect to wait too long, as once he gets into a project he's off and running!  :D

How do we get our name on the list for one of these figures? Include mine: Steven Lloyd

Or... simply turn them all into a Drag Revue of Robin and His Merry Men.  ;D

The figure is from an illustration and is in the style of the Errol Flynn,  the Rapier looks much better than a broadsword.

The second figure down should suit you, turn Robin into Maid Marrion with a bit of your sculpting, and Hey Ho, you're away!!!!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'll put you down for 2 then!!!!!  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

A good improvement. Might you also widen the scabbards on the top two figures a bit? These are supposed to be broad swords, but they look closer to a rennaissance rapiers. Remember, the sword is narrower than the scabbard in order to fit inside. I'd also look at altering the position of the second figure's head. As it is, he looks like he's looking up Robin's tunic. And it doesn't help that Robin's tunic can be mistaken for a schoolgirl's pleated skirt at first glance...  :o ;D

we have a revised drawing, with friar tuck just that bit taller.

Vladimir is now doing the final drawing before he starts engraving. ;)

I think almost everybody knows the Robin Hood story, so it will be a "international" figure.
The idea of Vladimir is great. You´ll have the hole story in one figure for the rare space of your Vitrine.
