Just arrived home this evening from sea and mine was waiting for me. Thanks very much Wolfgang & Brian. Nice work on the ones posted so far. I have some catching up to do but first there is the small matter of our annual holiday in the sun and then I will get to it.

Well Glen, an ambler is a horse that moves its legs like a camel, same side at the same time.

Well done, Jan! You've painted the sleeve with blue stripes; I was interpreting it as segmented armor, so I guess I need to do some more research.


What is an 'ambler' and why is it rare?

Then I was the second one to have painted one of the figures. Still attached to the sockel. A little odd thing about the horse´s leg movment ... he is an ambler ... a rather rare thing.


When dried up I will send it to you Brian.

Nick and a few of the committee members I have not sent you a figure, now when I get the ACW project figures back then maybe I'll let you play  :D
