Hi,

Just had another quick dip into the forum so I could check out an article in a Journal back issue and could not access it!!

Checked on my membership profile and I am down as an associate!!!

Is there a bug in the system or has Ed not put me as paid this year???

Just re-upped for another year. Only one bump in the process. Uncheck the box that allows for recurring payments. Paypal will not accept that. Otherwise a very easily accomplished task!

As many of you are aware the IFFS/BFFS site has two areas - one available to everyone on an an Associate basis and another for Members only which includes additional content related to How to Articles and Step by Step features as well as access to the BFFS Journal which is published on a Quarterly basis.  At the moment all 110 issues of the Journal are available online in PDF form to members. 


The Journal includes a wealth of information on Flat figure history, editors, new figures, history and uniforms in general.  It is fully indexed and will provide any flat figure enthusiast with a wealth of enjoyment.


In the past the Journal was produced exclusively in printed form and distributed to all members.  Recently the complete set of back issues has also become available on this site as PDFs for members. 


Due to popular request a new membership option has been created which will allow Members access to the Journal and the full site but, at a slightly reduced yearly fee.  This option called - Online Only - will provide Members the full benefits of the Society and the Journal but, only on an online basis, i.e. no printed copy of the Journal will be sent.


Should you wish the full printed Journal in full printed copy glory it will be available via the other membersip options.


Membership fees for this year are as follows for the site:
The following three options include a printed copy of the Journal as well as access the Journal online in PDF form as well as all past journals online.

UK - £ 23.00
Rest of Europe - £ 26.00
Rest of World - £ 28.00


Online Only includes the Journal but, only as a PDF option, i.e. no printed Journal is sent.  All past Journals are available online.


Online only - £ 19.00

From this site subscriptions are handled via PayPal and include a £ 1.00 PayPal fee. 


You can become a member by going to your Profile and looking for Paid Subscriptions listed under Actions.  From here you can link directly to PayPal and the site will automatically create a one year membership for you.


If you do not wish to use PayPal you can contact the club Treasurer via email at :

Fees via check are as follows:


UK - £ 22.00
Rest of Europe - £ 25.00
Rest of World - £ 27.00
Online only - £ 18


(They are 1 pound cheaper due to the lack of PayPal fee.)


Membership is on a yearly basis.  Members with memberships coming due will have until 12/31/2013 to re-join and their accounts will return to an Associate status.
