 Thanks for kind words!

I especially like painting horses, which I find the most appealing creature Nature has produced!

Good idea to bring up a discussion on the painted signs on the horse!

Both characterizations are very beautiful. My favorit is also the brown-wise horse.
This group is also in 30mm engraved by Werner Otto, and the shape is at Mr. Staßberger.
best regards
Wolfgang

Yes Louis, both of these are extremely nice, but because of the dark brown shadow on the back of the brown horse, there is a much greater feel of 3D to it.  maybe it's just in the photo.

I too like comparison paintings, there are so many options to chose from.

Louis,

I love these comparisons.  Both are quite good though I have a weakness for the white horse.

Good stuff!

The lone sentinel, after a painting of Frank MacCarthy. 55 mm flat.

Drawing Uwe Timper or Karl Heinrichs, engraving Peter Sturm, original edition Wolfgang Hasenpflug (today Historia Müller).
