I ran across a photo of a flat painted by Bob Langenberg. Bob paints his figures base colors in acrylics and then adds highlights and shadows in oils. His work really caught my eye. He sent me a number of photos of other flats he has painted and did a brief write up of his methodology. You can read it here:
