Another set I have always wanted after seeing a wonderful set as painted by Douchkine. (The saintly Nick ball tried to purchase this for me at Kulm
bach from Neckel but, was told it is no longer produced. This was a happy Ebay find.)
1. This is just the wagon as shown on Steven Lloyd's site.
Fuggers were German Merchant Bankers that became one of the richest families in the world in the 15th and 16th century. (A recent book is titled '
The Richest Man Who Ever Lived: The Life and Times of Jacob Fugger'
2 - 3 Figures including an enormous wagon - 4 1/2 - 2 1/2 inches
4. Neckel's catalog page - I am missing the last figure on foot with the whip
mark
P.S. This is currently part of my Christas vacation painting...
