I have just heard that Gernot Schlager, one of our most loyal Austrian members, is no longer with us. He was very knowledgeable and made significant contributions to the study of the flat figure both  through his research and the books he published.
I personally and the Society have lost a dear friend.

I remember having been in touch with Gernot years ago, a man with an intense passion with flats.
