! Truly very sad news and a great loss!
I would also like to express my condolences to his family.  :'(

I heard. Great sadness for another "pillar" who built the history of this little world of ours and who now leaves us.  :'(

Sad news, nice gentleman.  I was fortunate enough to get many of his wonderful figures.

Yes, such very sad news.  I was fortunate to meet Rolf on several occasions when I visited Kulmbach; he was a charming man and always extremely helpful.  My thoughts go out to his family.

Yes, his depart is great loss!
I also admired (and painted) some of his beautiful sets (e.g. Fest der Borgia, Stadtübergabe an Rene Lothringen, Burgund Ritter and other figures of the middle age).
Rest in piece Mr. Neckel!
Is it too early to ask about the fate of his moulds, isn't it?
