Title: What are these masts for?
Post by: snagy on January 23, 2025, 02:59:46 AM
Friends,
I have purchased from Berliner Zinnfiguren, the below mitteralterliches Zelt (Murten-Zelt).
I wonder what are the marked masts for:

Thank you for the advices!

They are for holding the tent to the ground.

Dear Kjeld,
first thank you for your help,
then I should like to get some further guidance how I have to / can use them?
Should I cut them and soldern somewhere?
Or keep them as they are now - then what color should they be given?
Thank you in advance!

My guess is that they are plain rope, the "postrutions" should be closest to the ground, my knowledge on these are very limited sorry  :'(
Perhaps this will help?
