Dear friends!
My retirement in April gave me a possibility to finish projects that have been on hold for more than a year.
Any opinion and critique will be appreciated.

Your painting has all the elements expected for flats, good contrast, shadows, highlinght correctly set, giving life, details on the face, nuances in the pants among soldiers ...
You start your retirement in much better conditions than myself !! I was a beginner, you are already well accomplished

Again, thank you very much gentlemen! I am still learning a lot from master painters like Douchkine, Talmant, Bode, Safonow, and many others.

Sorry if already asked and answered, are you using oils over acrylics?  The finish is outstanding.

Thank you very much gentlemen! I am really glad to read you words of encourage. I am painting only in oils although for many years have been using enamel primer. I am considering to prime in acrylic. More of my recent works will come soon.

Never-the-less beautifully painted figures.  Frauendorf figures are always first class, painted like this they are really special.

I painted Bavarian Ochel light horse and infantry in 1995-6 but at that time I had no good camera. They were done for my old time customer Dr. Adler. As far as I remember they were not bad because my eyes were much stronger at that time. I like Bavarian uniforms from Napoleonic till 1870 period. O, actually, while typing this text I recalled a few sets painted for Alexander Baden. Here are some of them.
