Title: TYW knight - who is he?
Post by: snagy on August 01, 2023, 01:54:54 PM
I recently saw this TYW figure - and I found it beautiful.
Can anybody identify the figure: who is he and who is the maker?
Thank you!

Hello,
sorry, no idea.
I think I have this figure somewhere in my boxes as well but never saw it in any cataloge.
When I look to the figure it seems to me, espacially the engraving of the boot and the horses neck and head, like a Ludwig Frank work. But I may be wrong.

The figure is engraved by Rössner. It is included in Wentzel's catalog from 1957-58.
