Title: search uniforms

I am looking for army uniforms from the Wars of the Spanish Succession (1701-1714), Austrian Succession (1740-1748), Northern Wars (1701) and Dutch War (1672-1678). Does anyone recommend any books or have pictures? Thank you!

And Gianpaolo Bistulfi did a great overview in #82 of the BFFS Jounal on this subject with some lovely painted examples.

There are some nice books on the Swedish and Russian armies from Helion and Company on the Great Northern War and Franco - Dutch Wars as well:

Oddly ill served time periods which is too bad considering the colorful uniforms.

P.S. Neglected to mention the Funcken books on the Lace Wars which are an a good resource for the War of the Spanish Succession in particular.

 Try the Soldiershop. com They have a lot on the 18th Century uniforms both in English and Italian. Willie
