But I think that you are also using a very narrow spotlight to highlight a small area of the painting...
Artistic painting, as seen often on Putty & Paint, where the other areas of the character are minimized, almost hidden.

Very nice paintwokr, Angelo - as usual.
However some further info about the technical background of the photographic technique you use, would be also interesting ( I think not only for me)!

Hi Snagy, nothing special.
black background and a single light source, in this case from the left. no photoshop .... ;)
