Title: Little Wing
Post by: Nicholas Ball on March 26, 2013, 04:38:00 PM
Unfortunately, due to the light, you can't see the full effect of the shimmer on her wings, nor her eye shadow, but I hope you like it.

Wow just been staring at this for the last 10mins and restraining myself from posting superb, brilliant or stunning painting. Sod it I've said it now  ;D beautiful painting Nick.  Will refer back to this picture for reference and inspiration as I have this to do but saving it until my painting skills improve.

Thank you all for the vote of confidence.

Painting what you enjoy certainly makes all the difference, as does the engraving.

Well, thats the end of the fairies for a while. More manly stuff to do--- well nearly  ;D ;D ;D ;D

My first post here has to congratulate your work on this one.
Saw it at Salute and loved it so much that I have been trying to get my hands on one of these.
Lovely work and you getting the hang of the butterfly's wings.
