WKW is for zinnfiguren W.Wohlmann,  Krista Wohlmann, Berlin, catalog sent by MP

GO = ? Goldberg?

NC = F.C.Neckel, Hattenhofen
...

It depends on the form of a base and position of marks. Capital NS in the center of a rectangular base could be for Neckel.
Center position of capital GO stands for Golberg International (now Dangelmaier)

Fun Topic but, the way to madness I think.

I can validate and fill in a couple:

GO - Goldberg
KH - Karl Heinrichs - Mike Taylor Book
WKW - Wohlmann - Krista Wohlman
NS - Neckel Stuttgart

From my wel-thumbed Sigel-Bestimmungsbuch I suggest:
NS: Neckel Stuttgart
UL: Ulrich Lehnart
ES: Ernst Seidel, Haus der nationalen Volksarmee, Loebau???

I'll keep looking

Couple of other possibilities:

WH - Wolfgang Hafer or Wolfgang Hodapp - may depend on shape of the base
WM - Western Miniatures
EH - Ernest Henniges

These are from Bistulfi's site - he has a nice listing of names which shows the shape of the base.

yes, but it could be useful to open a place here also to help all of us …. by collecting these information, indeed.

Hello,

it always depends on where the signature is.
Usually the artist is on the far left, the publisher in the middle and the engraver on the right. Sometimes, however, the left and right are reversed.

Some signatures are also duplicated
e.g.
Go - as editor Golberg
          as illustrator Fritz Georges

or

HN - as editor Dr. Horst Neumeister
          as editor Hans Neef

or

ES - as editor Erhard Strassburg
         as engraver Ernst Seidel

You can only clearly identify it if you show us the figures with the foot boards.

WKW - Wolgang and Krista Wohlmann
