Title: Berittener Burgunder, Banner Lothringen

I am looking for colour scheme for this flag.
It is from the Schlacht bei Murten set of Blum, the item Mu-167.
According to the catalog it renders: Berittener Burgunder, Banner Lothringen (Mounted Burgundian knight, standard Lothringen).
Any idea, picture would be welcome!

Hello Sandor,

this is the banner of Rene of Lorraine, he was with 300 mounted men at arms at the battle of Murten 1476 and at Nancy 1477 to fight against Charles the Bold. It shows the annunciation of Mary by the archangel Gabriel.

For the colours have a look here. On the bottom you will see some swiss banners, in the middle the banners of Basel, Austria and Strassburg and on top the one you looking for. The ground of the banner should be white, the painter added some shadows. The other banner is the same, the ground of the Basel banner should be white as well.

And here is the painted figure.
The figures on the banner were "pre-engraved" on the flat, so I followed the pattern.

Hello Sandor,
the man and horse looks very nice, but I would put a bit more colour to figures on the banner.

Yes, I also feel that the banner could be better - however in reality the colors are a bit stronger then they are shown in the picture.
The picture of the original flag (see one post earlier) also has quite pale colors - these are what I tried to recreate.
I shall work on it a bit furthermore ...  :-[
