I have now heard back from The Hall, and I can confirm that the date of the AGM is 5th April 2020

Have been asked due to the virus situation if the AGM is still on.
Currently the hall is booked and unless they cancel or the situation gets worse and meetings are banned then this is still on. Perhaps it would be a good idea for those hoping to still attend to put there names here so we get a general idea of who may attend

In Belgium all meetings, social events are cancelled since yesterday 24:00pm for three weeks ….
We cancelled our bimonthly club meeting 5 hours before enforcement on Friday night this week !!

Since I am over 70 it looks as though I will be locked up at home for the next 4 months so will be unlikely to make it.

Does look likely there will be a form of age ban. 😩. Sensible I suppose. Let’s see other responses and go from there. Sometimes it’s better to be safe than sorry. It can always be rescheduled 🙂

As another 'old guy' I think it would be wiser to reschedule the AGM.

I usually do not come to Knowle because it is not really worth the travel time and cost from France
About the virus I do not think there is much danger because the AGM is not crowded
But I find Boris last announcement frightening and I wonder about his mental health
I just hope he has better informations than the rest of the world

Dear All,
It is with regret that having spoken to other committee members and what with the serious situation we seem to have with this corona virus, we have decided we have no choice but to
CANCEL the AGM in April.
We will try to reschedule it if we can later in the year.
Should any of you know of members who wished to attend, please kindly let them know, especially if they are not on this forum.
Hopefully the latest journal will be posted out in time to arrive before this date.
In the meantime, please do take care of yourselves, keep safe and keep painting

It looks like a safe decision for everyone. :D :D Heath is what is the most precious thing to take care of.
Let's dedicate the time spared to paint flats instead !! 8) 8)
