I have seen pics and videos of the Zinnfiguren gathering in Kulmbach , Germany...I am wondering if there is such a gathering(s) here in the USA...thanks

Their is nothing specific in this country around Flat Figures that I aware of currently. However, one great show with participation of a large number of flat figure painters is yearly in Philadelphia.

Having met them two years ago they are also are a delightful, welcoming bunch as well. (You will see MFCA quite well represented quite prominently in the Gallery under shows.

There is no specific flats (only) show in the US. Both MFCA (Philly) and Chicago (MMSI) have a very good representation of our kind of work. Since you live in WI, Chicago is probably the easiest and cheapest for you to attend. But be sure you go to the MMSI show AND NOT the Toy Soldier Show.

There's a posting for the MFCA show on this site. Here is the site: http://www.mfcashow.com/
Major shows are worth the time and trouble to attend. You will meet many great people and become inspired to improve. You may also get some good advice if you enter your work.
