Some figures I recently paint
Bélisaire, a Byzantine général of the 500ds, under emperor Justinian
Two little Napoleonic groups, flanqueurs chasseurs of the young guard and "defending the eagle"
A flag bearer of the Gardes Françaises around 1645
Bélisaire is a very nice figure well designed and well engraved; I think it was from Gottstein via the late Paul Krog
The two groups I bought on german EBay; not the highest quality, but interesting and agreable to paint
The flag bearer is Kieler
30mm and oil

Great stuff Eric, a nice varied bunch. I'd better get a move on.

I think you put a fair bit of pressure on some of us last night matey ;D ;D ;D
These are very nice Eric, Belisaire is by far my favourite, but then thats the time period I prefer.
You seem to be on a roll Eric, at this rate you will do more this year than Roger!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Great figures all though I am partial, the standard bearer. I confess I am envious of anyone that can paint fleur de Leus, something I can't do to save my life.
Nice stuff,indeed!

Very nice Eric.
I too like the Belisaire figure. The painting of the horse is very well done. The use of Ochre in with the black and white gives a bit of life to the colour.
Nice group of Napoleonics. Although a very popular period, you dont seem to get a lot of them shown on this site! (apart from the larger scales)
Keep them coming mate

I do paint a lot by now because in a few weeks it will be spring time and I will go to gardening,...if the weather allows it !

Really nice work, Eric.
Love the Belisarius figure. That's as fine an image of him as I've ever seen. Too bad the Byzantine empire doesn't seem to get much love from historians in English, I don't know about in France.
