Howdy all,
This is Reaper's 54mm metal Female Elf Ranger painted as if on desert patrol. I used a motor-tool and dovetail cutter to tatter her clothing and some putty to show some ripped cloth. I also added a nocked arrow (two piece of brass rod with putty feathers and arrowhead). Reaper Master Series Acrylic paints over brushed on Floquil Model Railroad Primer (from my ever-dwindling supply). I went with a faded and somewhat dusty look with coarsely woven cloth.
Qs and Cs welcomed.
Cheers,
Glen

also one interpretation presented at the Lone Star Figure Show in 2015:

I have one to paint too at home ! It might be time to have my own original view also !!!

Thanks Hannibal! The Lone Star piece is also mine; painted for ReaperCon where I teach a pair of basic flat painting classes (using acrylics). I have to have a new interpretation every year to keep the creative juices flowing. Next year, I'm thinking of going with a 'Dark Elf'. Dark skin and 'evil' colors...

Well Glen, I hate painting a subject alreay painted identical to someone else ...
I take the challenge also to have my own interpretation... will need a few months with my backlog due to health issue this year, but I bought the flat in the USA to Reaper after seening your winter version !!!!
I will raise up the priority, Ransart (01) or Lugdunum (02) .. or Montrouge (04) 2018!!!
