Post by: errant49 on March 22, 2017, 09:24:30 AM
Not many contributions nowadays on the site
So I keep on showing my work
Here is a little group made of five gathered figures soldered together
They are from Fechner
They show the Condé cavalry regimenty at the end of Louis XIII reign
30mm, oil

Great!!!
thanks for showing them.
The French were fighting in 1640 nearly in all parts of western Europe, from Spain to Germany and from Italy to Flanders. But they are not often shown in tin-figures. There are some wonderful von Droste figures of French foot and it is very nice to see this figures.

Hi Eric,
that is a wonderful painted and very dynamic group. It is also one of my favoured periods.
Very well done. If there are more to show......

I must say that the soldering was made by a friend of mine for whom I painted the group
