Title: Elf Ranger Winter Conversion
Post by: Glen on March 10, 2017, 05:24:03 PM
This is Reaper Miniatures' flat Elf Ranger - a piece I actually finished last October. I added some fur trim (Aves Apoxie Sculpt) around the hood and lower cloak and altered the usual woodland color scheme to winter grays and blues and white metals. Reaper Master Series Acrylics over Floquil Model Railroad Gray Primer.

Qs and Cs welcomed.

Cheers,

Glen

Superb flat Glen, I ignored that Reaper was producing this.  I immediatel ordred one in the USA, as I still have Reaper Miniatures figurines, in 28 mm size!

I remastered a bit your picture that reveals an outstanding painting! ....

Congratulations, and your small conversion makes it even much better !!!  The change to blue, cold colour gives a better feeling of cold wheather. Appreciated is also the fur texture of the inner side of the cape ... excellent effect.

Note : this is a 54mm flat, the onl one from Reaper seemingly. Nice piece, I love it !

This is the 28mm most equivalent figurine from Reaper too (half the size of the flat)

Very nice painting  :) !
I appreciate the shadow of the bow and the string - all the way across the figure!
Overall very good work!
