A few days off for most over Christmas so here's a little idea from facebook.
for 7 days post a photo of one of your figures, don't have to be new just your figures. lets see what you can do, open to all but got to be flat ;D

-
Look at that!! only on hour or so and we're on our way ;D
just pointing out there's no judging just showing your figures.
If you have not posted befor this is a good opportunity to post a photo, don't have to say a lot just a little about the figure.
If you missed the first day no worries just jump in when you want ;)
Every one have a go and lets see your stuff.

Painted last year.
Now the figure in the center has already been stripped of paint and re-painted. Especially the face looked awful, not enough of white primer layers so the metal shone through. I think I learned something.
-
Don't know, if I got the idea right,
but here is a first picture.
Figures by Golberg (now Dangelmaier); tree by Rößner,
painted in Acrylics.
-
You got it right Joerg, each day post a photo or two of your collection of figures
your all encouraged to take part, you have already missed the first day only 6 left ;D
-
My first set, by H-G Lecke. I feelt honoured that the picture, with it's somewhat toy like finnish, was added to the Flickr group Deutsche Kaiserzeit & Imperial Germany
-
Day 3
How about some Aircraft
-
Day 3, ..... my third flat five month after the first two ...
-
Okay,

Figures by Zimmermann (now Dangelmeier I guess), KLIO Berlin (Beer transport) and Bleistein,
painted in Acrilics
-
Day 3
A period I particularly like : Renaissance
Part of the Gottstein's Valois set
The center group is from Vanot
Painted a few years ago (ten ?, time is flowwing....)
Eric
-
Day 4 and it's Chrismas Eve :)
Today I have some girls, one from Jacques at Glorious Empires, other by Julia Kehle painted in oils
-
Painted this year; took photo before I had to throw away the hedge, as it had warped. Homemade play-doh on cardboard, originally meant to represent lawn. Model railway grass had been in my drawer for years, had thoughts of a 3d diorama. About quarter of century ago I read about a Swedish railwaymodeller who got this green stuff in his eyes.
-
Well, O.K.
my next contribution:
Prussian Hussars 1809, Schill revolt.
Hussars by Andrä, painted in oils
-
A big thanks to you who have posted ;) we have hundreds on here that can post a photo, only takes a minute or two so come on make my day!!
-
Some Bavarian hussars circa 2002
-
Shawnee Warrior
-
Day 5 and it's Christmas day!!! Hope you all have a great day, eat to much, drink just a little more then you should but remember those who have to go without, Christmas spirit dose not just come in a bottle ;)
-

-
Many interesting and most of all different figures and styles in this topic
Good idea Brian
Maybe could we think of other thematic topics during 2017
By the way not many committee members to support, except me ! :( :( >:( >:(
Eric
-
hi to all, as i m painting almost 3 years i have not much to show and all i shared here :( but if you don t mind one WIP at the moment.
-

-
6th day
This picture shows a Brétegnier figure showing Joan of Arc
I painted it three ways : with non metallic oil
with metallic paint
directly on the bare metal
The bare metal way is on the left
But where is the non metallic one ?
I cannot remember
Eric
-
The bare metal came out quite nicely I think. It's nice to see all three varieties side by side. I'm guessing simulated armor is in the middle
-
super !!
But I believe the bare metal is on the right side, metallic on the left and NMM on the middle. Onth right, one see the metallic pores of th metal (see helmet), while the other two are painted.
My guess, if wrong it is indeed bluffing !!!
-
Next one - The dilemma, part two
-
Another day
a gift for a friend, who served in a land far away,
figures from Mitelev
-
for the 7th day a general view of figures I have been and will be working on
Eric
-
Yes the last day :( a big thanks to all who joined in this little bit of fun, hopefully next time more members will post ;)
Day 7 going to finish with two of my favourites, the Pinups from Joerg and myself, we have had lots of fun getting these together
Then Wolfgang Bock's Three Musketeers such a great figure to paint.
Again many thanks guys, I think it worked hahaha
