Title: Horse Grenadiers of the Imperial Guard
Post by: errant49 on January 12, 2013, 07:41:13 AM
Mignot set
The figures have been gathered in small groups and then painted
I confess I am not very good in dioramas ; as youi can see may background is not top !
But at last I am rather happy with the result

Stunning as allows.  These look great as a group, very nicely done.

Beautifully done! wish I had such talent, do you do single or both sides?
How long does it take you to complete a group like this?

That's excellent, Eric.  Not just the figures, I like the backdrop and positioning of the figures as well.  It worked well to put the casualty figures off to the left flank.

Thanks to you !
Ray, at the beginning I wanted to paint both sides and just make a scene without a background ; as painting took a long time after having created the little groups, I had enough of it and decided to try a boxed diorama
It took some months to achieve, but I did not make it at once !

That is supberb Eric.

The background is just right as it blends in but does not distract from the figures.

I look forward to seeing this sometime.
