Title: Napoleon fleeing from Russia
Post by: errant49 on June 09, 2016, 05:00:39 AM
This is not the nicest figure I ever paint
The design is not top and the engraving rather rough
But it is dynamic and stays pleasant to paint

We feel the deep cold of the weather freezing us when looking at the picture !!
Congratulation, once more, like the Hannibal elephants ...

And style give a non static effect, like a photography taken at 1:10 sec, instead of 1:500!

There is good depth and action in the figure. Almost reminds me of an impressionist painting that captures a moment very clearly without being overly done. I think this a a very good piece.
