Title: OMAR
Post by: errant49 on May 22, 2016, 08:14:37 AM
This is a big (90mm ?) figure I had in my grey army for a while
I do not remember who issued it; the base is marked DB (?) and RS (Regina Sontag ?)
It is wonderful to paint
To make a change I painted both sides in different colors and I tried the "grisaille" technik (see the workbench)
I am rather satisfied with the result

Magnificient trial and success Eric, !
Indeed, one cannot see the two sides at same time, so smart painting !

The flat is still sold by Jupiter Miniatures, but I found it on a price list as Detlef Betlaschk work, perhaps given to Regina Sonntag for editing ..

I have two sizes in my records: 70 mm and 90mm.  Best is to measure the distance between the eyes of Omar and his left heel...
